Camp Prep Checklist
What to Bring & Wear
Packed Lunch & Snacks:
Campers must bring their own lunch and drinks every single day. We do not provide food on-site.
Required Forms: A signed Liability Waiver Form must be handed in on the first morning of camp. Campers cannot participate without it.
Daily Attire (Wear to Camp)
Campers must arrive dressed in clothes suitable for both handling horses on the ground and riding.
Pants
Long pants (jeans, leggings, or riding breeches) are required.
Footwear
Boots or sturdy shoes with a distinct, smooth heel are mandatory. No sneakers, sandals, or crocs are allowed around the horses or in the arenas.
Riding Helmets
All campers must wear an ASTM/SEI approved equestrian riding helmet when mounted. Parents are not required to buy a helmet for camp. We have them available to borrow! However, you must reserve one in advance on your registration form so we can guarantee a proper fit.
Weather Comfort
Please bring sunscreen, insect repellent, and a reusable water bottle.
What to Expect
Our camps focus heavily on horsemanship and hands-on ground handling (such as grooming, leading, and learning horse care), which builds true confidence. While ground handling is our primary focus, campers will also enjoy riding time during the week!
