Welcome to an intimate, unique summer experience centered around friendship, farm life, and true connection. Our camp offers a peaceful, hands-on environment where children safely interact with, care for, and understand horses from the ground up.
Our Philosophy:
Safe, Small Groups & Big Fun
At Fairwinds Farm, we believe the most magical bond with a horse happens in a peaceful, focused setting. To keep our environment quiet and hands-on, our camp sessions are limited to just eight campers per week.
Our days are filled with age-appropriate fun, laughter, and lasting farm memories. While our program focuses primarily on safe handling, ground connection, and farm life, campers will also enjoy a special mounted (riding) experience once during the week. The heart of our camp is the everyday joy of horse companionship, creative play, and farm exploration.
Hands-On Horse Care
Learning the joys of daily grooming, brushing tails, safe leading, and understanding how we keep our equine friends healthy.
Farm Life &
Critters
Meeting and caring for our other friendly farm animals, experiencing the daily routines of the farm, and enjoying outdoor space.
The Special Mounted Experience
A dedicated, safe, and memorable mounted session on horseback during the week to practice balance and build confidence.
Crafts, Games & Fun
Bringing the farm experience to life through age-appropriate horse-themed arts and crafts, outdoor games, and group activities.

Week 1:
Wranglers-In-Training Equine Academy
(Ages 13–17)
Dates: July 27, 28, 30, and 31 (Please note: There is no camp on Wednesdays)
The Experience: Our oldest campers enjoy an immersive, mature look at groundwork, equine health, and deep partnership. This week focuses entirely on advanced horsemanship skills, safe handling, specialized ground connection, and collaborative farm leadership challenges.

Week 2:
Mini Mustangs
(Ages 5-8) & Wranglers-in-Training Part 2
(Ages 13-17)
Week 2: August 3, 4, 6, and 7 (Please note: There is no camp on Wednesdays)
Mini Mustangs
Group A:
Mini Mustangs (Ages 5–8)
The Experience: This special week is tailored beautifully for our youngest campers. Activities, games, and horse-themed crafts are entirely focused on building early confidence, safety, and a gentle connection with our animals.

Group B:
Wranglers-In-Training Part 2 (Ages 13–17)
The Experience: In Part 2 of our Academy, older teens step into a wonderfully structured leadership role. Campers will work closely with our younger children, acting as mentors, assisting farm staff, and learning the rewarding responsibility of running farm programs while continuing to expand their own horsemanship skills.
Part 1 is not a prerequisite for Group B.

Week 3:
Hoofbeats and Friendship
(Ages 9–12)
Dates: August 17, 18, 20, and 21 (Please note: There is no camp on Wednesdays)
The Experience: Designed specifically for our pre-teen group to dive deeper into horse behavior, ground communication, and purposeful farm management alongside our creative arts, horse-themed crafts, and group games.
Tuition: $485
